The Raptors’ Kyle Lowry Gives Perfect Answer To Kid Journalist

Kyle Lowry was seriously impressed with a kid during his most recent press conference.

While taking questions from journalists on Sunday, 13-year-old reporter Arjun Ram asked the Raptors star, “How does it feel to be an icon all over Canada to kids?”

Clearly surprised, Lowry said, “That’s a crazy question. I ain’t never been asked that one.”

He gathered himself and continued, “I’ll put it this way, man, I was once a kid. I was once in your shoes, and to be able to know kids one day will want to be like me, I hold myself to a super-high standard.”

Lowry said that he hopes kids see in him a man who’s “really professional, really about his business” but also still “fun and loving it.”

He then remarked, “That’s a crazy question right there, boy,” and when another reporter began asking something, Lowry cautioned him, “You can’t beat that question … You can try, but you can’t beat that question.”
