Selena Gomez is moving on.
One year after her split from long-time boyfriend Justin Bieber, the singer/actress, 26, has removed all evidence of their relationship from her Instagram page.
Fans took notice of the deleted birthday tribute she posted for him last March, it was the only “official” confirmation that the pair had rekindled their seven-year on-off romance at the end of October 2017. Shortly after that, it became a full-fledged breakup at the end of March 2018.
“March 1, 1994 someone I know that happens to be super cool was born. Boom,” she wrote to Instagram, captioning a photo of her holding a picture of the Biebs.
Bieber later began dating now-wife Hailey Baldwin in June before tying the knot in September on 2018.
While it is unknown why Bieber and Gomez officially called it quits, a source close to the former couple told People magazine that the relationship became pretty toxic at the end. “Their relationship was always very complex and complicated,” the insider said. “It was just too much baggage. It was like their past tainted everything. It wasn’t possible for them to have a future.”
Despite the Instagram refresh, Gomez has left all the photos of her ex-boyfriend The Weeknd. The pair dated for 10 months in 2017.
