“Spice World” was released over 20 years ago and now the Spice Girls are planning to make their big-screen comeback.
Melanie Brown (Scary), Emma Bunton (Baby), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty), Geri Horner (Ginger) and Victoria Beckham (Posh) are reportedly all on board for a new movie being made about the group, The Hollywood Reporter claims.
Paramount Animation president Mireille Soria said the girls, who have been touring the U.K. and Ireland minus Beckham, “had an idea that we’ve been developing.”
She added that they were “very involved.”
Simon Fuller will produce the flick, with Karen McCullah and Kiwi Smith writing the screenplay.
The Spice Girls kicked off their much-talked-about tour in Dublin last month. Despite some people complaining about sound issues, the reunion has gone down a storm with most fans.
