One of fans’ favourite moments from “Avengers: Endgame” came courtesy of depressed Thor’s unexpected weight gain, and Chris Hemsworth has some more video of the Asgardian god of thunder.

While promoting his latest film, “Men in Black: International”, on Wednesday’s “Tonight Show”, Hemsworth shares a brief video of himself costumed as “fat Thor” in his trailer during a break in filming, playing guitar and performing Johnny Cash’s cover of the Nine Inch Nails track “Hurt” — in character, of course.

As Hemsworth explains, he was doing a little “method acting” in order to play bummed-out Thor, which led him to that particular dark, brooding song in order to get into the proper mindset.

“I’m a terrible singer and a terrible guitarist,” the 35-year-old actor jokes to host Jimmy Fallon.

You can catch more with Hemsworth on Wednesday’s edition of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”, which will also feature the actor joining Fallon and fellow guest Kumail Nanjiani in a game of “True Confessions”.
