Aubrey Plaza Gets A Scare From Chucky, Talks Recent Reunion With ‘Parks And Rec’ During ‘Ellen’ Appearance

Ellen DeGeneres is joined by Aubrey Plaza on Thursday’s edition of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to discuss her new role in the upcoming reboot of ’80s slasher flick “Child’s Play”.

In the film, the “Legion” star plays the mother who gifts her young son with a cute little doll (voiced by Mark Hamill), which promptly comes to life and goes on a bloody killing spree.

In honour of Plaza’s new role, DeGeneres had one of her signature pranks in store, with a show staffer costumed as Chucky hiding in a table and bursting out to give the actress a hilarious fright.

Meanwhile, Plaza also chats with DeGeneres about reuniting with the cast of “Parks and Recreation” at the recent PaleyFest to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the beloved sitcom, revealing that she and her former co-stars remain close — and even keep in touch via group text.
