Stephen Colbert Mocks Donald Trump’s Huge Spelling Mistake In Prince Charles Tweet

Donald Trump made a huge typo in a tweet referencing Prince Charles on Thursday, and Stephen Colbert was more than happy to make fun of it.

The president, who met the Royal Family in the United Kingdom last week, accidentally called Charles “the Prince of Whales” instead of “Wales.”

On Global’s “The Late Show” Thursday night, Colbert did his usual Trump impression, joking, “Prince of Whales, fantastic guy. I threatened him with plankton tariffs, OK? I mean, I scared this guy, I got right up in his krill.”

He then did his best impression of a whale.

Trump’s post has since been corrected but numerous publications were quick to screenshot the message.

Unsurprisingly, the hilarious spelling mistake had people commenting in droves.

Trump’s typo comes after he hit headlines Wednesday for “liking” a random Rihanna quote.

The president has only “liked” eight tweets ever, the latest being one from the singer’s Interview magazine chat.
