As well, the Grammy-award winner excitedly shared details about her new album, which will be released on August 23.

Lover will feature 18 new tracks and is described by Swift as a “very romantic” album.

“Not just simply thematically, like it’s all love songs or something. But the idea of something being romantic doesn’t have to be a happy song,” she teased. “I think that romance… you can find romance in loneliness, or sadness or going through a conflict or dealing with things in your life. I think it kind of looks at those things with a very romantic gaze.”
