Kevin Bacon Says He Had To Be ‘Less Handsy’ On Set With Director Wife Kyra Sedgwick

Kevin Bacon admits he had to tone down the PDA while working on set with his wife Kyra Sedgwick.

During an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”, the 60-year-old actor reveals that he had a difficult time keeping his hands to himself while working with his wife, who directed some of his new series “City on a Hill”.

“We’re very affectionate people, you know, and we had a very serious sexual harassment meeting at the beginning of our season and I think that, in this day and age, people are just, in general, kind of trying to be less handsy,” Bacon says.

Referencing the #MeToo and Time’s Up movements, he adds, “So I have to be careful to keep my hands to myself when my wife is around.”

Referencing one particular instance on set in which he got in trouble from Sedgwick, the actor recalls, “She said to me once, ‘Please don’t touch me there, you know, while we’re working.'”
