Mark Ronson was one of the lucky people to witness the wedding of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes in 2006.
The stunning wedding set at an Italian castle was one to remember, but unfortunately for Ronson his memories aren’t all good.
“I got really drunk,” Ronson said while on “Watch What Happens Live”. “Something about when I’m DJing, I don’t realize I’m drunk so I keep drinking and then the minute the music stopped I started spinning. So I threw up all over the castle. I got outside the castle but it was like, we got in the car for three minutes. It was in the Italian countryside. It was very disrespectful. I’m sorry, Tom.”
Cruise seemed to love his set – the musician mixed some “Top Gun” songs into the night – and the actor was giving him the “finger guns.”
Meanwhile, Ronson was also part of the “A Star Is Born” team, co-writing “Shallow”. Host Andy Cohen grilled him about the chemistry between Lady Gaga and Bradley Copper during their Oscar performance and if it surprised him. “They’re both such great actors and performers, and they really did perform that song so well together. I thought it was one of the great performances. I know that song and I was still kind of moved by it,” he said.
The star also talked about his upcoming solo album Late Night Feelings out June 26, featuring Miley Cyrus, Camila Cabello, Yebba and Lykke Li.
He wanted to collaborate with Drake but got shutdown after sending him a handwritten letter in “gold pen on black paper.”
“He seemed like the kind of guy who would appreciate a handwritten letter but maybe it was coming on too strong,” he added.
