On Thursday night, Taylor Swift released her newest single “You Need To Calm Down”, but unfortunately fans have to wait until Monday until the video surfaces.
With the anticipation high, rumours started to swirl online about the video and her upcoming album Lover. One of those was so-called album artwork of Swift and Katy Perry dressed as fries and a burger kissing.

A fan alerted Swift who responded calling the idea “ABSOLUTELY false”.
“To be an ally is to understand the difference between advocating and baiting,” she wrote. “Anyone trying to twist this positivity into something it isn’t needs to calm down. It costs zero dollars to not step on our gowns.”
Perry and Swift were feuding in the past but have since put it all behind them.

Perry recently posted a plate of chocolate chip cookies with “Peace at last” written on the plate. “Feels good @taylorswift,” she captioned the photo.
Swift responded with 13 pink hearts.
Fans are hoping that the location tag “Let’s Be Friends” is a clue to a collab between the two singers.
