Fendi has cast real-life friends Amanda Seyfried and Emma Roberts for their new #BaguetteFriendsForever campaign.
In celebration of Fendi’s iconic Baguette bag, the actresses star in a short fashion film, where they bond over their favourite Baguettes in a dream-like Fendi closet.
Filmed inside the Fendi flagship store on New York’s Madison Avenue, Seyfried and Roberts appear enchanted, as they explore the Baguette Dream Room under hypnotic, coloured lights and set to the soundtrack of Fatboy Slim’s “Praise You”.
Opening up about her connection to the Italian luxury label, Seyfried says, “For me Fendi means exquisite, tailored and it represents the Italian craftsmanship.”
She adds, “The Baguette bag is soft and can play as both casual and cocktail.”
On working with Roberts, the 33-year-old “Mamma Mia!” star says, “It was great to work with Emma on this Fendi project because she’s herself, easy to connect with, madly funny, bold and no-nonsense. I love working with women I respect and connect to. It feels powerful and fun.”
Meanwhile, Roberts calls Fendi “the ultimate mix of classic with trend,” noting that the Baguette bag “can go with anything like a simple jeans and t-shirt or a dress.”
Looking back at the fashion brand’s Baguette party in February 2019, the 28-year-old “American Horror Story” star recalls, “Amanda and I had the best time at the Fendi event in NY. We hadn’t seen each other in a while and we just laughed and caught up. Amanda is so funny and has a contagious energy about her.”
