“The Challenge” star Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio is trying to have his Kanye moment.

According to the Blast, the reality star was at Sunday night’s taping of the MTV Movie and TV Awards where he jumped up on stage during the acceptance speech for “Love & Hip Hop”, however, the clip never made it to Monday’s airing.

Bananas reportedly grabbed the mic and began ranting about why “The Challenge” should have won the Reality Royalty Award.

“We finally won! After all these years, it’s about time MTV finally gives ‘The Challenge’ the recognition it deserves,” he said. “All the other shows that got nominated are essentially paying rent in the genre we created.”

The Blast‘s source said that, “At one point cast members of ‘Love and Hip Hop’ started to remove him from the stage after realizing what was happening. It seemed most of that cast, and others, did not know who Johnny Bananas actually was.”

The other nominees in the category were “The Bachelor”, “Vanderpump Rules”, and “Jersey Shore”.

Bananas did not get the heads up that his speech would be cut from Monday’s airing as he told his fans on social media to watch out for “the King of Controversy.”
