A Mariah Carey fan is celebrating her birthday with a Marie Curie cake after a hilarious mix-up at the bakery.
A woman in England requested a cake featuring Grammy-winning music icon Carey and instead received a cake of two-time Nobel Prize-winning physicist and chemist Curie.
Her cousin tweeted an image of the “very festive” radioactivity pioneer on the cake.
“My cousin in England told her colleagues she wanted a Mariah Carey birthday cake,” Harriet Alida Lye tweeted. “They misunderstood, and is the cake they made her instead. It’s Marie Curie, looking very festive.”

The cake mix-up didn’t let the celebrations stop. Instead, Lye captured birthday girl Siobhan’s reaction to her festive Curie cake.
While the cake may have been a funny fail, Siobhan got the greatest gift of all – a happy birthday wish from Carey herself.
