Cara Delevingne spoke about her relationship with Ashley Benson during an appearance at Monday’s TrevorLIVE Gala in New York.
The 26-year-old recently shared a video of her and Benson kissing to celebrate Pride Month.
She was then asked by E! News why she decided to go public with the romance now.
Delevingne, who starred in the movie “Her Smell” with Benson, explained, “I don’t know… because it is Pride, it’s been 50 years since Stonewall happened and I don’t know.
“It’s been just about our one-year anniversary so, why not?”

The model-actress was honoured with the Hero Award at the star-studded event.
She also appeared to mention Benson in her speech, telling the audience: “I also have another very special woman in this room to thank and you know who you are.
“She’s one of the people who help me love myself when I needed it most and I really needed it. She showed me what real love is and how to accept it, which is a lot harder than I thought.”
