Garth Brooks has shared a snippet of his new duet with Blake Shelton, “Dive Bar”.
The two country favourites’ upcoming track was sent to terrestrial and satellite radio for airplay Tuesday, with Brooks also teasing the song on Instagram.
The lyrics include, “Gonna spend a weekend/In the deep end/The water’s fine y’all should just come on in/To the deep end of the dive bar.”

Brooks also mentioned that it’s good of Shelton to collaborate with him given he has his own song, “God’s Country”, on the charts right now.
He said on the latest episode of his Facebook series “Studio G”, “Trust me, it’s very sweet of this guy to even think about releasing a song with whomever when his own single is doing so well. But that’s the kind of guy this guy is.”
Brooks and Shelton are set to perform the catchy track live for the first time at Brooks’ upcoming show in Boise, Idaho on July 19.
