One act during “America’s Got Talent” brought the judges to their feet during Tuesday’s all-new round of auditions.
The group Voices of Service, a quartet of army veterans, took the stage and wowed Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and “AGT”‘s new judges Julianne Hough and Gabrielle Union with their inspirational rendition of Katy Perry’s “Rise”.
But before the emotional performance, the group explained how music brought them together and how they hope their music can help their fellow active-duty members.
“We’re using this platform to show what music can do as music therapy for service men and women who are coping with post-traumatic stress, and we just love what we do,” the group explained to the panel.
The killer performance got a unanimous “yes” from the four judges as they go on to the next round of the talent competition.
