Best known for playing the teenage football player adopted by Sandra Bullock’s character in 2009 Oscar winner “The Blind Side”, actor Quinton Aaron gave his Instagram followers a scare on Tuesday when he posted a video of himself out of commission in a hospital bed.

“What’s up guys? Um, for those of you that don’t know already, this video is to let you know,” Aaron told his IG followers. “I’m going to be good, a couple of health issues just popped up on my radar, and I am in the hospital, but everything is all good. Nothing to worry about. And this is just so you hear it from the horse’s mouth, instead of the word getting out any way.”

Without disclosing exactly what those “health issues” might be, Aaron continued: “For those those of you that do know what’s up with me and have been praying for me, I appreciate you. I appreciate the love and everything, I appreciate the prayers. I will be back at 100 per cent, I will continue to do what I love to do.”

While fans of the 34-year-old actor expressed their concern, Aaron later spoke with TMZ to assure everyone that he’ll be just fine.

According to Aaron, he’d been suffering since early May with what he thought was a lingering cold. When his symptoms continued into June, he decided to see a doctor — who told him his blood pressure was high, and decided to keep him in the hospital overnight for tests, ultimately discovering he had an upper respiratory infection.

Speaking with TMZ, Aaron says he’s on the mend, and was released from the hospital on Wednesday.
