J.J. Abrams is going from movies to comics and he’s bringing along the best writing partner he could think of – his son Henry.
On Thursday, Marvel announced that the “Star Trek” director and his mini-me will be writing a brand new Spider-Man comic miniseries.
Joining Abrams in crafting the new Spidey story is his 20-year-old son.
“We’re really excited, there’s a crazy new villain named Cadaverous, that we can’t wait for you to meet,” the filmmaker said in the comic’s announcement video. “Marvel, [we’ve] been talking to them for a long time about this, so very excited to be doing it, and especially excited to be doing it with this gentleman.”
“It’s just so exciting,” said Henry. “I can’t believe it’s happening.”
The series will be out this September, with artist Sara Pichelli doing the illustrations.
