“The Terror” is coming back to TV for Season 2 with a whole new scary story.

In the first trailer for “The Terror: Infamy”, the horror begins with the real life internment of Japanese-Americans during WWII.

As families begin to settle into their new awful reality of imprisonment, a string of strange deaths begin to haunt the community, with hints that shape-shifting ghosts may be involved.

Derek Mio stars in the new season as Chester Nakayama, who is trying to figure out what sort of entity is responsible for the killing and how to stop it.

The trailer also features actor George Takei, who in real life was interred along with his family in one of the camps during the war.

Kiki, Sukezane, Cristina Rodlo, Shingo Usami, Naoko Mori and Miki Ishikawa fill out the rest of the show’s impressive cast, while new writers Alexander Woo and Borenstein helm the 10-episode season.

The first season of “The Terror”, which premiered last spring, told the story of a 19th century Arctic expedition stuck in the ice and hounded by a mysterious creature.

“The Terror: Infamy” is set to premiere August 12.
