Nicki Minaj Releases New Song ‘Megatron’, Reportedly Unmoved By Criticism Over Featuring Her Sex-Offender Boyfriend

Nicki Minaj is making her mark on the music world once again with her newest song.

The rapper teased fans with “Megatron” last week by posting a picture of herself in a jungle setting standing in front of a sports car.

It isn’t the first time Minaj made a reference to “Megatron”. In her song “Transformer” with Future, she references “Megatron” as she raps, “Some call me Nicki, but some call me Megatron.”

Also, during the European leg of “Nicki WRLD Tour”, a video of Minaj as a robot named Megatron aired.

Meanwhile, some of Minaj’s fans are expressing their discomfort that the singer’s boyfriend, Kenneth Perry — a registered sex offender who served time for manslaughter — appears in the video with her.

However, sources tell TMZ that Minaj doesn’t care about the criticism. “She’s happy and in love and he’s not going anywhere,” says the source, adding that Minaj pointing to the fact that the video has already exceeded 4 million views on YouTube.
