Troye Sivan is letting Vogue into his life as the star of the latest “73 Questions” segment in the video series.

The musician and actor opened up about everything from Taylor Swift to not wanting to be a “gay icon.”

“From experience, I have seen that the LGBTQ community is so unbelievably diverse and looks like so many people, that to kind of be picked as one of the ’faces’ of the community… it just made me really uncomfortable… it felt scary,” Sivan says candidly.

As for his close friend Ariana Grande, she is “even more charismatic, funny and sweet than you can imagine.”

When asked about how Taylor Swift inspires him, the “Dance To This” singer said, “songwriting, she is such bada** songwriter.”

Jet-lagged from just finishing his world tour, Sivan makes some coffee which he notes Australians make better. However, the California implant says there are things that he prefers about the United States.

“Ding-dongs, Twinkies,” he adds laughing, revealing that he loves all the names Americans have for snack foods.

Sivan’s boyfriend, Jacob Bixenman, also makes a cameo in the episode along with their dog, Nash, where both boys are quizzed with questions at the same time, like “who does Nash love more?”
