From a moon and stars motif to Eevee from Pokemon, you could say Ariana Grande has quite the collection of tattoos.
Now, the “7 rings” singer has debuted more new ink, this time inspired by one of her favourite people on the planet: Jim Carrey.
The Grammy-nominated singer took to Instagram stories on Thursday to reveal that her latest tattoo is a famous quote from “The Truman Show”, which happens to be her favourite Carrey film.
As it turns out, the 25-year-old and her best friend/cousin Courtney Chipolone got the exact same iconic line tattooed on their bodies which says: “In case I don’t see ya good afternoon good evening and good night!”
“I got the same s**t but upside down,” Grande captioned her photo on Instagram.
After Grande shared her new ink on social media, Carrey himself responded via Twitter to signal his approval:
This isn’t the first time the “thank u, next” singer has expressed her love for the Canadian actor.
Back in April, Grande shared one of her favourite Carrey quotes about depression to her millions of followers on Instagram, revealing why she felt connected to the message.
“Depression is your body saying, ‘I don’t want to be this character anymore. I don’t want to hold up this avatar that you’ve created in the world. It’s too much for me,'” the quote read. “You should think of the word ‘depressed’ as ‘deep rest.’ Your body needs to be depressed. It needs deep rest from the character that you’ve been trying to play.”
“The whole LOML [love of my life] forever,” she professed underneath the quote.
