Mike Fisher would do well to leave the singing to wife Carrie Underwood, judging by a hilarious video the “Cry Pretty” vocalist shared via Instagram on Saturday.
In the video, Fisher is seen leaning over the couple’s 5-month-old son, Jacob, and singing Vince Gill’s “I Still Believe in You”.
Jacob immediately starts crying, so Underwood, 36, quickly takes over the verse, causing Jacob to immediately stop his wailing — until Fisher joins back in, with Jacob’s crying starting back up.
The pattern hilariously repeats, with Jacob crying whenever Fisher sings, and then stopping immediately at the sound of Underwood’s voice.
“Everyone’s a critic…” Underwood wrote in a cheeky caption, with Fisher defending himself in a comment: “The real reason is he was hungry and wanted your food. #notmysinging.”
Meanwhile, several of the couple’s famous friends offered their own comments, including Justin Timberlake, Kimberly Williams Paisley, Lori McKenna and more.
