The “Fast & Furious” series is back underway.
On Monday, Vin Diesel shared a video with Michelle Rodriguez from the set of “Fast & Furious 9” after the first day of filming.
“Wow,” Diesel says. “Can you believe it, Letty? Can you believe it? We just completed our first day and it feels like a miracle.”
Co-star Nathalie Emmanuel also Tweeted to mark the first day of shooting.
Justin Lin is returning to direct the film, as are stars Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, and Ludacris. Joining them is new star John Cena.
Dwayne Johnson won’t be appearing in the sequel but instead will have his own spinoff, “Hobbs & Shaw”, come out August 2.
“Fast & Furious 9” is scheduled to hit theatres May 20, 2020, with a 10th entry in the franchise planned for April 2021.
