Tom Holland Admits He Couldn’t Walk After Hitting The Gym With Jake Gyllenhaal

Tom Holland had a memorable workout with his “Spider-Man: Far From Home” co-star Jake Gyllenhaal.

Holland appeared on Monday’s “Late Show”, where he told Stephen Colbert of Gyllenhaal: “We love each other.”

As the talk-show host then asked what the pair do for fun, Holland said Gyllenhaal asked him to go to the gym with him recently.

“There’s a law in the gym that you can’t run slower than the guy next to you,” he revealed, admitting how tired he was after the weights session, nevermind the treadmill.

The British star said how Gyllenhaal kept trying to up the incline and push them both further, and despite Holland going along with it, he was suffering afterward.

“We’re doing press later that day and I can’t walk. I’m sitting there and a journalist goes, ‘What’s wrong with you?’ and I said, ‘Well, I do all of my own stunts.'”

Holland’s appearance also saw him hold a bunch of adorable puppies up for adoption.

“The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on Global.
