Howie Mandel, Julianne Hough, Gabrielle Union, and Simon Cowell, who labelled the pair “the best dog act” they’d had this year, had nothing but nice things to say.

Union gushed, “That was absolutely awesome. I have five dogs at home and knowing how much work goes into training a dog just to do basic obedience and he’s doing all kinds of tricks? I love you. I love Falco. Great job.”

Hough added, as Falco left the stage: “It was amazing. I thought it was fun. I thought it was energetic. It’s OK, Falco… he knows how good he is. He doesn’t need to hear the comments. I loved it.”
