As documented in “Dog And Beth: Fight Of Their Lives”, Chapman was diagnosed with stage two throat cancer in 2017. After a thought-to-be successful 13-hour surgery, Chapman was rushed into emergency surgery following a reported “blockage” in her throat caused by a “large mass.”

She was again rushed to hospital in April this year after having trouble breathing related to her cancer. Chapman was then told the cancer had returned, but during a livestreamed speech at The Source Church in Florida, she revealed her decision not to undergo chemotherapy treatment.

Dog and Chapman starred on the hit reality series “Dog The Bounty Hunter” since its debut in 2003 until 2013. Their new series “Dog’s Most Wanted” was set to air next year.
