The Killers Joined By Pet Shop Boys, Smiths Guitarist Johnny Marr For Glastonbury Performance

The Killers delivered a few surprises during their headlining set at the Glastonbury Festival on Saturday night.

Fans at the iconic U.K. music fest were delighted when Killers frontman Brandon Flowers brought a pair of special guests to the Pyramid Stage: Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant, collectively known as Pet Shop Boys.

The duo joined the band for a performance of Pet Shop Boys’ synth-pop cover of Willie Nelson’s “Always On My Mind”, and then remained onstage for The Killers’ 2004 hit “Human”.

Pet Shop Boys weren’t the only surprise guests to join The Killers onstage; later in the set, Flowers welcomed Johnny Marr, former guitarist of The Smiths, who joined the band on “This Charming Man”, and also delivered his distinctive fretwork to the band’s 2004 hit “Mr. Brightside”. Watch:
