“Four Weddings and a Funeral” is getting new life as a TV series.
On Monday, the first trailer premiered for Mindy Kaling’s adaptation of the classic rom-com.

Starring Nathalie Emmanuel, the series follows a new generation of friends who reunite in London for a wedding, but everything gets turned upside down.
Emmanuel’s character Maya gets a shock after following for her perfect man, Kash, played by Nikesh Patel, only to discover he’s her friend Ainsley’s boyfriend.

The 10-episode series also stars John Reynolds, Brandon Mychal Smith and Dermot Mulroney, and the trailer teases a cameo from the original film’s star Andie MacDowell.
“Four Weddings and a Funeral” premieres July 31.
