Hilary Duff is sharing a life update on daughter Banks.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the 8-month-old cutie is sitting on the floor, in a pair of banana pants, sticking her tongue out. But as many noticed, the youngster is sporting new jewels in her ears
“She has enough hair for a pony,” Duff, 31, captioned the sweet shot. “Oh, and yes we pierced her ears.”

Piercing infants’ ears is a controversial topic, and many moms are hitting back at Duff.
After posting another image of Banks’ new earrings, one mom-shamer wrote, “Just won an unfollow after seeing you pierced her ears.”
They added, “Poor baby! Bye!”
Despite the backlash, some fans are defending the “Younger” actress.
Duff and fiance Matthew Koma welcomed baby Banks in October.
