Sam Neill loves nothing more than sharing his life on the farm with all his fans.
The “Jurassic Park” star spoke about his New Zealand farm, where he lives for half the year, in a new interview with Vulture.
“I’ve got four little vineyards and the farm is the heart of it,” the 71-year-old said. “My chickens, sheep, goats — the whole menagerie is there. A couple of them have become unwitting media stars.”
He added, “I love to name as many of my animals as possible after my friends. It doesn’t always end well. Meryl Streep was killed by a ferret recently. I found her as a pile of feathers one day.”

On Twitter, Neill has shared that he likes to do yoga with his pigs in the morning.
“I love hanging out with The Pig,” he told Vulture. “He comes to life beside me, but he respects my space if I just want to kick back, relax, and read a book next to him. I took a few selfies of me recently reading Fire and Fury, and he was in the background looking shocked that I was reading it. I’ll admit the yoga isn’t a daily occurrence.”
