Jerry Seinfeld Apologizes After British Comedian Takes Swipe At Him Over ‘Comedians In Cars’ Comments

Jerry Seinfeld apologized to British star Robert Llewellyn this week after suggesting a bunch of comedians had copied his ‘car’ idea.

Seinfeld, who recently announced the return of “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee”, bragged about being the first to come up with such an idea in a clip shared on Twitter.

However, Llewellyn insisted his “Carpool” show ran before Seinfeld’s.

The tweet was in response to a promo clip posted by Seinfeld, which featured Eddie Murphy and other comedians who would be joining the TV legend for the upcoming season.

Seinfeld, who starred on “Seinfeld” for nearly a decade, then insisted he’d never heard of the show but still offered his apologies.
