As any member of the Royal Family can tell you, being royal means you rack up those travel miles. And the newest member of the Firm is no exception.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed Archie into the world on May 6 and his travel diary is already jam-packed.
This fall, the family of three will travel to South Africa for Archie’s first official tour. Meghan Markle will hang back with her son while Prince Harry undertakes further visits to Angola and Malawi with a private working visit to Botswana.
Yet before their late September trip, Prince Harry and Meghan plan on visiting Queen Elizabeth at Balmoral Castle during her annual summer trip to Scotland.
“Harry and Meghan will be visiting Balmoral Castle in Scotland and will bring Archie with them,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly. “They’re excited he’ll get to spend some quality time with his great-grandmother [Queen Elizabeth II] at her summer residence.”
ET Canada understands from a further source that while it is typical for the royals to alternate visiting Her Majesty, nothing has been set in stone at this point.
US Weekly is also reporting that the family is going to visit Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, in Los Angeles by the end of the year but those are unsubstantiated.
The next chance to catch a glimpse of Archie is this Saturday as he is christened in a private ceremony at the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle. The media won’t be in attendance but the couple will release photographs taken by Chirs Allerton.
