Fendi Honours The Late Karl Lagerfeld With Fashion Show In The Ruins Of Ancient Rome

Fendi honoured its former creative director Karl Lagerfeld with a stunning fashion show.

Set in the ancient ruins of Rome, the luxury fashion brand sent 54 killer looks down the runway in honour of the 54 years the late legend worked at the fashion house.

The show, officially titled “The Dawn of Romanity,” was the first in the fashion house’s post-Lagerfeld era.

With approximately 600 people in attendance, many of them A-listers of Hollywood, Fendi treated them all to a live performance by Italian composer Caterina Barbieri, as well as a private dinner at the historic site.

Rome’s famous Coliseum was just short distance away and served as a stunning backdrop for photo ops and the show.

Zendaya, Susan Sarandon and Catherine Zeta-Jones were just a few among the many stars in attendance.

Lagerfeld died in February at the age of 85.
