Avril Lavigne’s Latest Single ‘I Fell In Love With The Devil’ Is Creating Controversy

Avril Lavigne recently dropped a new single, the fourth to date from her upcoming album Head Above Water, and not everyone is happy about it.

Titled “I Fell in Love with the Devil”, the track has been receiving rave reviews from most of her fans, but it’s proving upsetting to some who perceive the song to be anti-religious.

“I’ll hv to unfollow you now… how can you fall in love with Devil when God created you with amazing talent which made so famous…. Thank God for the blessings not Devil,” reads one comment on Instagram.

On Saturday, Lavigne took to Instagram to share some promotional images from the new single.
