Michelle Williams may have heard Beyoncé’s new original “The Lion King” music, but she’s keeping quiet.

The former Destiny’s Child singer hit the Los Angeles premiere of Disney’s live-action/CGI remake on Tuesday to support her former bandmate when she was asked if she’s listened to the new tunes from The Lion King: The Gift.

But to play coy, Williams simply struck a pose, avoiding the questions from a Variety reporter. She turned side-to-side, staring directly into the camera channelling Beyoncé’s famous look.

Williams did, however, chat about her pal’s role in the film, gushing how “perfect” Beyoncé was for the role of Nala.

“No one else could do it,” she said of her friend. “When I think about her eye colour, her skin, her hair. She’s perfect for it.”

While we still have a week to hear Queen Bey’s full The Lion King: The Gift album, she did release the single “Spirit”.
