Denise Richards is opening up about her daughter Eloise’s struggles.
The “Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” star, 48, joined her co-stars and Andy Cohen during the series’ season nine reunion when Cohen asked about Eloise, 8.
“Eloise has a chromosome disorder,” she explained through tears. “She has a deletion in chromosome 8 which has caused many delays with her and it’s caused a lot with speech development.”
“It was a very difficult thing to diagnose,” Richards began to explain, revealing Eloise was only two-years-old when she diagnosed. “She went through a lot of —”
“RHOBH” co-star Erika Girardi interrupted by asking, “So she was missing a lot of milestones?”
“Yes,” Richards continued. “It was really hard. When I saw what was written on the medical report to get the blood test and all the testing done it was hard to see it in black and white.”
Later, Richards really started to break down, with her co-stars Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Teddi Mellencamp and Lisa Rinna who also began to cry as well while. “It’s just hard to see it with your kid, you know?” she added.
Richards adopted Eloise in 2011. She also shares daughters Lola, 14, and Sam, 15, with ex-husband Charlie Sheen.
