Kristin Davis Admits To ‘Losing Sleep’ Over ‘Friends’ Guest Role

While Kristin Davis’ role as Erin in “Friends” is one of the many memorable guest stars on the hit sitcom, the “Sex And The City” star admits taking it on stressed her out.

During an interview with, Davis opened up about her nerves and admitted to “losing sleep” over it.

“I remember losing sleep,” she said. “‘Sex And The City’ was in production, but I was nervous to be the tiny character of Erin [on ‘Friends’], losing sleep, partly because of the live audience, but partly because you’re in this world that has been created that is so alive and so specific and you’re trying to make sure you’re fitting yourself in there properly.”

She added: “I remember, like, ‘Will I set that joke up okay? Will Matt [LeBlanc] be happy? Will I just go blank?'”

And playing Joey’s (LeBlanc) love interest didn’t help the nerves either.

“Things go through your head when you’re in those situations that are heightened like that,” she said. “Obviously, it was the highest of the high at that point.”

“Friends” currently streams on Netflix but come 2020, the hit sitcom will air exclusively on HBO’s streaming service HBO Max.
