Young, once a star of “Nashville”, and Alaina, an “American Idol” alum, released the collaboration after making a surprise appearance together at CMA Music Fest just last month. “This town ain’t big enough // Your friends and mine run into each other all the time,” they sing. “Seems like there ain’t no place to run // This town ain’t big enough for both of us.”

If you hear a familiar voice in the background of “Town Ain’t Big Enough” it might be because Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney contributed background vocals to the song. Mooney also helped Young write the track, along with Cary Barlowe and Corey Crowder.
