Kylie Jenner has fresh insight into the cheating scandal surrounding her former BFF Jordyn Woods and Toronto-born NBA star Tristan Thompson, father of her sister Khloe Kardashian’s child.

In a recent episode “Keeping Up With the Kardashians”, the 21-year-old makeup mogul is looking back at what happened, and in hindsight now feels it was ultimately best for both her and her sister.

“I think that this whole Jordyn situation needed to happen for a reason. For me, for you, for everybody,” says Jenner in the clip.

“She was my security blanket. She lived with me. We did everything together. I just felt like, ‘Oh, I have Jordyn. I don’t need anything else,'” says Jenner of Woods.

“There’s a part of me that needed to grow without her,” she adds. “Sometimes people are there for certain reasons at certain times in your life and then not there for others.”

“I really respect in you that you’re really good at being calm even when you probably do want to scream at someone,” responded Kardashian, who welcomed True, her daughter with Thompson, in April 2018.

“Everything’s supposed to happen for a reason,” she adds. “I feel like this is the season to filter through the bulls**t. And you know, only the strong and loyal will survive.”

Shortly after the episode aired, Jenner unfollowed Woods on Instagram. Five months after the cheating scandal happened.

Woods addressed what happened in a recent edition of Jada Pinkett Smith’s “Red Table Talk”, but implied that she was the real victim because of the alleged bullying she received from Kardashian fans.

“My little sister was bullied in school and I wanted to show her that I was bullied by the world,” said Woods.
