People who couldn’t make it to WE Day 2019 at the Forum in Inglewood, Cal., in April will finally have their chance to see the inspiring event.
On August 9, ABC will broadcast the charity showcase, which was hosted by Neil Patrick Harris and featured big-name guests like Selena Gomez, Chance the Rapper, Joe Jonas, Natalie Portman, Pentatonix, Meghan Trainor, Hailee Steinfeld, and Bill Nye.
“I am so inspired by the people who are celebrated in this year’s show for making an impact in their communities and beyond,” Harris said in a statement. “As a dad of two young children, I want my kids to grow up in a kinder, more compassionate world, and people like them are making that possible.”
He added, “The WE organization empowers each of us to make a positive difference—teaching us compassion, inclusion, and to be proud of what makes us each unique. I’m proud to have played a small part in that movement.”
The annual WE Day event celebrates the thousands of young people making an impact on important issues both local and around the globe.
