Things got heated during part 1 of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season-9 reunion.
Host Andy Cohen was quick to quiz Camille Grammer about her $30-million divorce settlement from ex Kelsey.
After congratulating Grammer on her recent marriage to David C. Meyer, Cohen asked why she has kept the “Frasier” star’s surname despite their 13-year marriage coming to an end more than eight years ago.
The reality TV star insisted, according to People: “The primary reason is for my kids. That’s it.”
Camille and Kelsey Grammer share daughter Mason, 17, and son Jude, 14.
Grammer also insisted she “worked hard” during her marriage.
She quipped, “I just didn’t sit back, buying fancy clothes and shoving bonbons in my face. I mean, I worked hard.”
One person with whom she didn’t really seem to see eye to eye during the episode was Denise Richards, who was previously married to Charlie Sheen.
Richards and Sheen divorced in 2006 after being married for four years. Unlike Grammer, however, she didn’t get any money from the split despite also not having a prenup.
Richards said of their divorce discussion during a lunch break, “Oh my God, wait until we get into all this Camille s**t. I think she’s just being really mean.
“Maybe she’s not a happy person.”
