There have been Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton rift rumours for years now, but it sounds like things are changing.
Insiders say Meghan giving birth to Archie has reconnected the duchesses and their respective husbands.
A source told People, “There is a sense of [Meghan and Kate’s] relationship strengthening.”
Meghan and Kate attended Wimbledon together last weekend, with an insider saying the pair “were genuine and sweet together.”
Kate is mom to Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 1, while Meghan gave birth to Archie in May.
The insider shared, “They’re each a little more relaxed. They have more in common now.”
The sources then spoke about how Meghan and Harry’s move from Kensington Palace has also helped the royals’ situation.
A friend said, “They all know what’s at stake, and William and Harry know that their grandmother [Queen Elizabeth II] in particular needs them to be on the same page.”
An insider also commented on Meghan’s difficulty adjusting to life in the public eye.
They told the mag, “Meghan has struggled with the intensity of the spotlight. Although she is a former actress, this is on a different level.”
