“Game of Thrones” served as the foundation for Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell’s relationship, and now they are lost.
Shepard shared his deep love for the history-making HBO series when visiting “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Tuesday. “I’ve been with that program for 10 years and she and I had been with it together,” Shepard said. “I got to say, I think it was the foundation of our friendship and marriage ‘cause we’re struggling now. We’re watching anything and everything.”
“It can really get you through a couple hours together,” the actor and “Armchair Expert” podcast host continued. “All in all, we’re probably in it for three, four hours on a Sunday night… We definitely are mourning the loss of it.”
Shepard, 44, and Bell, 38, are no ordinary “GoT” fans. The celebrity couple famously held watch parties and dressed up as Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen, and Cersei and Jaime Lannister. Bell and Shepard once even cosplayed as a dragon and Bran, respectively.
The final episode of “Game of Thrones” aired May 19. Despite criticism of its last season, “GoT” received a record-breaking 32 Emmy nominations.
