Kathy Griffin still has zero love for former boss Andy Cohen.
In a new interview with People, the controversial comedian slams the “Watch What Happens Live” host.
“Andy Cohen treated me like a dog. He was, like, one of the worst bosses I ever had,” Griffin says. “And also, you know, the guy… he decides the entire slate at Bravo, and yet he gave himself a talk show [‘Watch What Happens Live’] that magically gets renewed every year!”
Griffin continued, “So you know, I had a talk show at Bravo for two years that got cancelled. And I thought, Yeah… it’s sort of competition for Andy.”
“He has not been very kind.”
Cohen later responded via USA Today about Griffin’s remarks.
“She’s made up a lot of stuff about me in the past few years that has just been untrue and sad,” Cohen said. “I hope she finds some peace.”
Cohen also replaced Griffin as Anderson Cooper’s co-host for the annual New Year’s Eve countdown on CNN after she posed with a fake severed head of Donald Trump.
In Griffin’s People interview, she addressed her falling out with Cooper.
“I don’t think he’s that kind of guy, you know what I mean?” she added. “I just don’t think he’s wired that way. I don’t think he has really any interest in (making up). And after going through something like this, I’m, like, done chasing people. I’m down to three friends on a good day, and so I just kind of want to go where I can make people laugh.”
Cohen also stood up for his friend. Adding, “She said something that I found incredibly vile about (Cooper) last week that I think says more about her than anything else.”
