Zachary Levi may have starred in “Tangled” but that doesn’t mean he’d be a shoo-in to play Flynn Rider again.
When asked which Disney prince he’d like to play in a live-action film, Levi said: “I think the obvious choice would be to play Flynn Rider in a live-action [‘Tangled’].
“But as much as I would love to play Flynn, by the time they get around to that, I don’t think I’m gonna be the right guy to play that role.”
He added during a panel at CCXP Cologne over the weekend, according to comicbook.com: “I’ll be there coaching that guy, I’ll make sure he understands what that smoulder means, but I think my hair will be like ‘Steve Martin’ white by the time they do a live-action ‘Tangled’. So in lieu of playing Flynn I don’t know… Ariel from ‘The Little Mermaid’, maybe.”
Levi also spoke about a possible “Shazam!” sequel, insisting bosses will probably want to work on it sooner than later.
He said, according to Cinema Blend: “The only other thing I know is they want to make it as soon as possible because those kids are growing up like weeds, so if we don’t do that in, like, the next two days, they’re gonna be full-grown adults.”
