A few familiar faces will guest star in the upcoming season of “Dear White People”.
Netflix confirmed Yvette Nicole Brown, Laverne Cox, Blair Underwood, and Flavor Flav will all appear in season 3 of the show. Series creator Justin Simien will also have an onscreen role.
The streaming service shared a teaser announcing the news Wednesday. Key art will be shared Thursday, a trailer Friday.
Logan Browning, Brandon P Bell, DeRon Horton, Antoinette Robertson, John Patrick Amedori and Ashley Blaine Featherson also star in the series.
The show “follows a group of students of colour at Winchester University, a predominantly white Ivy League college,” where they are “faced with a landscape of cultural bias, social injustice, misguided activism, and slippery politics.”
