Fans are finally getting their first look at Season 2 of “Mindhunter”.
On Friday, Netflix released a teaser for the upcoming season. This comes two weeks after the streaming service released the first images from the highly anticipated new season of the serial killer investigation drama.

The second season picks up two years after the events of the first season, with Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany and Anna Torv’s FBI agents on the case of the Atlanta child murders, which took the lives of 28 African-American children, teens and adults from 1979 to 1981.

Along the way, the investigators from the Behavioural Science Unit interview notorious serial killers, including Charles Manson.

In an interesting coincidence, Manson is played by actor Damon Herriman in both “Mindhunter” and Quentin Tarantino’s film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”.

“Mindhunter” Season 2 premieres August 16 on Netflix.
