The original John Connor is coming back to the “Terminator” franchise.
At Thursday’s San Diego Comic-Con panel for the upcoming sequel “Terminator: Dark Fate”, producer James Cameron revealed that actor Edward Furlong will be returning to his role from “Terminator 2: Judgment Day”.
Furlong joins Linda Hamilton, who will be reprising her role as Sarah Connor from the original series and Arnold Schwarzenegger as The Terminator.
“We asked Linda to come back and thankfully she agreed, and we built the story about that,” Cameron told the crowd, according to ComicBook.com. “Eddie Furlong is back as John.”
“Terminator: Dark Fate” is being directed by Tim Miller and also stars Mackenzie Davis and Natalia Reyes.
The film hits theatres Nov. 1.
