Alessia Cara Releases First Single ‘Ready’ From Upcoming EP

Alessia Cara has some big news.

Only eight months after the release of her sophomore album Growing Pains the Canadian singer has released the first single from her forthcoming EP This Summer.

“Ready” is an upbeat, bouncy song for the summer with a reggae groove.

“Why do I care so much about you, boy? You know I do/ I think a million thoughts, but only half get through to you,” she sings.

Cara is currently on tour with Shawn Mendes which might have spurred the EP.
